The Norbertine Community gathers on the first Friday monthly with the exception of the months of February, March, and April. Come early or stay after and explore our abbey grounds including the Labyrinth, the meditative walking path, the way of the cross, and the St. John the Baptist Desert Chapel, or visit the Norbertine Library.

Taizé prayer is a distinctive style of meditative prayer developed by an ecumenical community of monks in rural France. A typical Taizé prayer service incorporates periods of silence with meditative readings from scripture, prayers of praise and intercession, and the repetition of simple contemporary chants based on psalms or other parts of scripture.
